Big News for Bristol: The New Arena Has a Name

There’s been some exciting news buzzing around Bristol today— the city’s brand-new live entertainment venue has officially been named Aviva Arena.

Set to become one of the UK’s biggest indoor venues, the arena will host huge music acts, live shows, sporting events and more, putting Bristol firmly on the map as a major destination for live entertainment. When it opens, it’ll welcome up to 20,000 people at a time — which is pretty impressive by anyone’s standards.

The name reveal was celebrated locally at Aerospace Bristol, a place with strong ties to the area’s aviation history and a landmark many of us know well.

Here at The Power Outlet, this news feels especially close to home. Our office is based at the new site, currently right next to the Concorde museum — and very soon, we’ll be right next to the new train station.

This whole area is changing fast, and will be great to see it becoming a real hub for music, events and business. The new arena is a big part of that, bringing energy, footfall and opportunity to the neighbourhood.

We’re proud to be part of such an exciting corner of Bristol and can’t wait to see the arena take shape over the coming years.

Stay tuned for more local updates from us — and if you’re nearby, keep an eye out… you might just spot us moving in next door to the station soon via a crane!
